Recently, teaching director of Chengdu French Association, Mr. Benjamin Logé and executive secretary Ms. Zhang Bojie have visited our school. They provided senior 1st and 2nd graders with detailed information about French language proficiency test, which is widely known as DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue francaise) and the diploma for further study in French, known as DALF—Diplôme d'approfondi de langue francaise.

The two diplomas were created by France Education Department in May 1985. As national French diplomas, they are widely acknowledged in over 130 countries worldwide because of objectivity and strictness. The diploma, in accordance with Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), is divided into six levels—A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2. Once obtained, it will remain valid for life, which is extremely helpful to foreign students. Normally, B2 is a free pass from language schools to different majors in universities for foreign students.

Mr. Benjamin approved our students’ proficiency in French study. He will continue to support the teaching work in the future and he wishes that more and more excellent students can enter French universities.
