The final of 2017 China (Chengdu) US Sister Cities Teenage English Debate Competition, held by the municipal Education Bureau and the Office of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs under the government, ended in Chengdu Shishi High School.

Among 76 representative teams of city high schools, West Campus-ers--Wang Qijie and Liu Yifan, representatives of Tianfu New Area, entered the final with great performance and were able to be the final eight. Meanwhile, in Tianfu New Area qualification trials, our students won the first and second prizes.

The competition is believed to be a bridge for further connection and cultural exchange between the two cities, as well as to be a stage where Chengdu high school students can broaden their international view and foster their creative thinking and language competence.
